Step Into the Future of DISC

  • DISC Profiling
  • Job Profiling
  • Negotiation Management
  • Team Building
  • Internet Connectivity
  • ...and more besides, all in one unique profiling solution

Discus 4 takes DISC to the next level, giving you an unparalleled suite of integrated DISC solutions. Not only does Discus 4 provide all the same powerful analysis and reporting features as its forerunners in the Discus range, but we've also extended it in almost every way imaginable. As well as DISC assessment, Discus 4 can now handle relationship reporting, team building, and negotiation management. We've also built in a wide range of new services to take advantage of the Internet, providing a seamless connection to online resources.

One of the things we've radically overhauled in Discus 4 is the price. Discus now works completely on a pay-per-profile basis, so you only pay for the profiles you use. There's no up-front charge, and no ongoing licence fee - instead, you just pay a small standard charge for each profile you create. To maximise Discus' cost-effectiveness, we've also introduced a new feature: Outline profiling. Ideal for experienced DISC users, an Outline profile will provide minimal DISC information from a questionnaire, at a significantly reduced fee.

Discus 4 also offers a host of features that are completely free to use. Job matching and profiling, relationship analysis, team profiling and building, and many more besides, are all available for unlimited use at no charge.

DISC Profiling

  • Quick and easy questionnaires
Create a profile through an on-screen questionnnaire, or use a printed question set (available for free). Discus 4 also integrates with Discus Online, so you can create DISC profiles across the Web.
  • Direct and relevant reporting
Discus' reports include a complete array of graphical displays and assessments, as well as a natural language description of up to twenty-one different aspects of a person's behaviour.
  • Relationship reporting
New in Discus 4 is relationship assessment, a feature that will examine two separate DISC profiles and report on the important features of their likely working relationship.
  • Printing and e-mailing
Every report in Discus 4 can be output under your complete control. Choose which sections are included in a report, and then print or e-mail directly from your desktop.

If you're familiar with earlier versions of Discus, you'll find all your favourite features in place, but Discus 4 takes DISC profiling on to a new level.

Job Profiling

  • Job Profile designer
Discus 4 has Job Profile design facilities for newcomers and experts alike. You can define your job's needs through a simple questionnaire, or base it on an existing profile. For experienced users, you can even define the Job Profile purely by hand.
  • Job Profile Library
To get you started with Job Profiling, Discus comes complete with a built-in library of over fifty standard Job Profiles, that you can use as a basis for creating your own.
  • Merging Job Profiles
A great new tool helps you build Job Profiles as a group exercise. If you collect views of a role from many different perspectives, Discus 4 can merge all those perspectives together to provide an optimum new Job Profile.
  • New Job Profile reporting
Each Job Profile, including those you create yourself, has its own report in natural language. In Discus 4, this report has been specially redeveloped and extended to make it even more useful than ever.

Job Profiling is the process of defining a job or role in DISC terms, so that it can be matched against ordinary DISC profiles to establish a behavioural match between the two. Discus has always been at the forefront of Job Profiling technology, but with Discus 4 we've added even more new features.

Negotation Management

  • Contact profiling couldn't be simpler
Just answer twelve simple questions, and Discus 4 can generate a behavioural model of the person you describe.
  • Quick Call Questionnaires
These special questionnaires are ideal for modelling a person's style interactively. Adjust the model on-screen during a call, and the Contact Profile will adapt immediately to your changes.
  • In-depth reporting
A standard Contact Profile report consists of seven seperate sections, along with a useful checklist covering basic 'Dos' and 'Don'ts' when negotiating with an individual.
  • DISC compatibility
Contact Profiles work using the same basic principles as DISC, so they can also be described and analysed in DISC terms. Discus 4 can even provide a full DISC report for a candidate profiled this way.

Completely new in Discus 4 is an entire section dedicated to helping optimise negotiation. Contact Profiles build a model of a person's behaviour indirectly, without the need for a DISC questionnaire, and can make recommendations for productive business interaction with that individual.

Team Building

  • Drag-and-drop team building
You can import any individual's DISC profile into your team, and freely assign and reassign that individual within the team to explore the potential effects.
  • Understanding the team
Discus 4 will provide a comprehensive team report in natural language, covering not only the general structure of the team, but also its key relationship issues, dynamics, roles and leadership questions.
  • Team Attitudes at a glance
The completely new 'PPF' (Pace-Perspective-Focus) team attitudes assessment extends DISC to provide a model of any member's attitudes towards a team, and the type of role they will typically fulfil.
  • Team Profiling
Using the Team Profiler tool, Discus 4 can even recommend ideal behavioural combinations for you. Based on a team definition you provide, the Team Profiler will search for team combinations that match your ideal.

Behavioural team building, management and reporting is included in Discus 4 as a completely free service. So long as you have a DISC profile for each member, you can model and assess the dynamics and working patterns of any teams you wish.
