Contact reports

Discus includes the ability to quickly create an overview of a person's individual style based on your description of them. The result is a Contact Profile - an overview of that person's attitude and approach.

Contact Profiles are primarily used as an aid to improving communication. The information they provide has a wide range of applications, from helping to improve motivation, to negotiation, to developing a sales strategy.

The Contact report consists of the following:

• Fast Facts
  A graphical overview of an individual style, and a summary showing their most important traits and motivations.
• Checklist
  The Contact Checklist sets out the basic ground rules for dealing effectively with the individual. It lists typical types of behaviour to look out for, as well as giving a list of 'Dos' and 'Don'ts' when dealing with someone of that type.
• Textual Report
  The Textual Report goes into greater detail about the features of the contact's personality, exploring the typical attitudes of their style, and identifying factors that both motivate and demotivate them. It also describes an overall 'sales strategy' for maximising communication effectiveness.
• DISC Analysis
  If you're familiar with more conventional DISC intepretations, the Contact report also describes the contact's personality in terms of their DISC profile, and offers a brief textual summary of that profile.
• Glossary
  The Glossary clarifies any more specialised terms used in the report. The Glossary is customised to each report, and all its definitions are tailored to the contact in question.
